THE PORTSMOUTH GARDEN CLUB

During COVID, PGC held VIRTUAL presentations. There are more selections on our PROGRAMS page.
Take a look at Our 2022-23 Meeting schedule by clicking on the PROGRAMS tab at the top of this page.
Thanks to everyone who attended, exhibited, or volunteered at our 2022 Festival of Trees. According to our guests, it was our "best ever" festival. We are particularly thankful to our partners at the Urban Forestry Center who worked so hard to decorate for the festival. It took a lot of effort to make everything look so nice!
We will be adding photos from our FOT 2022 during the future. PPMTV once again prepared a video for us to enjoy. It will be available soon.
2022-2023 Programs
All our Portsmouth Garden Club meetings are held at the Urban Forestry Center, Elwyn Dr., Portsmouth, unless otherwise noted. We welcome guests at all our meetings. If a special program is being presented, we ask that non member guests donate $5 to cover our cost. Generally we begin with a social time from 10:00-10:30 followed by a short business meeting until 11:00. Speakers/programs generally run from 11:00 til noon. Please contact us to let us know you are interested in attending.

Our May meeting is always one of our favorites. Members interpret works of Art or Literature with colorful and creative floral arrangements. We will feature our Portsmouth in Bloom program at the Portsmouth Public Library from May 17-19, 2023. In honor of the city's 400th anniversary, we will be focusing on local scenes represented via beautiful arrangements. We have been posting member arrangements on our PGC Face Book page. Visit our FB page to enjoy what we have done. A small sample of some of our arrangements is shown below.
