Founded in 1931, the mission of the Portsmouth Garden Club is to promote all phases of gardening, to practice and encourage the conservation of our natural resources, to foster educational goals and to initiate projects which provide cooperative efforts to increase and protect the beauty and history of the Portsmouth area.
We meet at the Urban Forestry Center 45 Elwyn Road, Portsmouth on the 3rd Wednesday of the month:
Social time begins at 10:00 am
Business meeting at 10:30 am
Speaker/program from 11:00-noon
Together we enjoy monthly speakers, beautification projects, support historic gardens, provide grants and scholarships, visit gardens and share fellowship.
