Festival of Trees Gallery

The Festival of Trees has been a Portsmouth tradition since 1983. This festive event is co-sponsored by The Portsmouth Garden Club and the New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands-Urban Forestry Center. This 3-day event takes place on the grounds of The Urban Forestry Center, 45 Elwyn Road, Portsmouth. This property was a bequest to the State of New Hampshire by John Elwyn Stone in 1976 and is administered by the Department of Resources & Economic Development, Division of Forests and Lands.

Local businesses, artisans, civic groups, and individuals are invited to display a tree, decorate a room, or create an exhibit. There is no fee to participate and all exhibits remain the property of those who participate. There are no raffles and nothing is sold at this fun filled family event.

The funds raised are used to support the Festival of Trees Scholarships and Grants, to assist conservation education, to support historic gardens in the Seacoast area, and to support club activities.

The Festival of Trees is held every other year.

To join us as an exhibitor, please contact us at info@portsmouthnhgardenclub.com for more information.

See you in 2013!
